To encourage a recycling culture among children and young adults, Enka took its campaign Join My EKO (Únete a mi eko) to the Calasanz School in Medellín, to the Nuestra Señora del Rosario School in Girardota, and for the first time,
CHILDRENS’ PAINTING CONTEST
To promote among children the importance of recycling, we encourage our employee’s children to take post-consumption PET bottles to the Children’s Painting Contest where they are exchanged for extraordinary products made with our raw materials.
THE LARGEST CLEANUP OF COLOMBIA
We were involved in “The Largest Cleanup of Colombia” campaign driven by the Ministry of the Environment and Sustainable Development, throughout 14 Departments. The purpose was to build awareness and invite citizens to keep the country clean.
OPEN DOORS
We enjoy letting others learn about our processes where we transform the ordinary into extraordinary products.
Our Open Doors program has led to receive about 2,000 visitors to our plant, including students, business persons and recyclers, in the past four years.
